    Achievement Introduction:


    This achievement closely focus on the key bottlenecks in the industry of shrimp in China, such as lack of artificially directed selected varieties, the difficulty in controlling the spread of pathogens due to seedling cultivation technology and the difficulty in controlling disease outbreaks in culture mode. After over a decade of research and development (R&D), we established one technical system suitable for the development of shrimp culture industry in China. The system obtained the first new marine aquaculture animal variety “Fenneropenaeus chinensis ‘Huanghai No. 1’ “ combined population selection and family selection with modern molecular biology technology after seven generations selection.Fenneropenaeus chinensis“Huanghai No. 1” has the advantages of fast growth, the average body length increased 8.40% and body weight increased 26.86% Compared with the non-selected population.Fenneropenaeus chinensis“Huanghai No. 1” was determined as aquatic dominant extension variety by the Ministry of Agriculture in 2006 and 2007. Based on the studies of the key technologies of parent shrimp overwintering, ripening, seedling and pond culture, the technologies of SPF seedling production and WSSV-resistant population selection were established to produce healthy and non-WSSV-infected Chinese shrimp seedlings. On the basis of identifying the pathogen of shrimp outbreak, the needle-dot hybridization detection kit for pathogenic nucleic acid detection of shrimp outbreak epidemic was developed. The technologies of T-E field diagnosis, monoclonal antibody ELISA detection and nucleic acid probe-PCR were established. Peptigosaccharide preparation was invented to enhance the immune competence and disease prevention of shrimp, which could significantly improve the non-specific immune index of shrimp in the seedling and growing period, and enhance the resistance to WSSV infection. On the understanding of the epidemic characteristics of WSSV, the changing features of aquatic environment and the behavioral features of shrimp, Take of cutting off pathogen transmission pathway and regulating culture environment as the core, integrating SPF-free shrimp seedling cultivation technology, microbial remediation technology in shrimp culture environment, pathogen detection technology in shrimp culture process, regulation technology of environmental factors, immune enhancement technology of shrimp, comprehensive treatment technology of aquaculture wastewater and quality-safe control technology of shrimp culture products. The semi-underground plastic greenhouse shrimp factory cultivation mode, deep pond high dam cultivation mode and shrimp ecological cultivation mode suitable for the ecological characteristics of northern China were established according to different cultivation conditions, which the success rate of shrimp cultivation was more than 90% and the survival rate of shrimp cultivation from larvae to harvest period reached 70%. Since 2000, under the guidance of this technical system, the total area of farming has exceeded 10,000 Ha and the output value has exceeded 1 billion yuan. The achievements constructed one national genetic and breeding center for Chinese shrimp, three national prawn original seed farms and five industrial pollution-free demonstration bases, which provided technical support for shrimp industrial development.
